Having started painting at the age of 15, Paul Denarié will be William Bouguereau's student.
He was chosen in 1897 to paint the portrait of the Shah of Persia visiting Paris. Since 1881, he has been frequenting the painters of Auvers-sur-Oise. Most of his work is located around Paris and Normandy and shows scenes from fairs, fairs or markets, but also daily episodes and especially backyards and village views in Normandy.
Also a poet and songwriter, he has about ten literary works for the stage.
