JAPAN - MEIJI period (1868-1912). Copper globular vase decorated with akasuke ginbari in red enamel and polychrome cloisonné enamel with birds in kiku. The transparent red enamel reveals a nanako background and kiku silhouettes chiseled under the enamel. Silver neck ring and foot plate. Ando Jubei mark on reverse. H. 15 cm.
