Edouard Marcel SANDOZ (1881-1971). Seated cat. Bronze with shaded brown patina. Signed Ed. M. Sandoz, engraved Susse Fres Ed. Paris. Cire Perdue. Foundry stamp. H. 42 cm - W. 21 cm - D. 22.7 cm. Two small paint stains on the back of the terrace. Acquired by Mr. Raoul M., an important Marseilles businessman at the beginning of the 20th century, then by descent to the current owner.
