Large multilayer bubble glass bowl, colorless, coral red and green shaded, with acid-etched, wheel engraved and polished decoration of a school of scorpion fish on a background of algae.

Circa 1923-1925.
Top. : 21,5 cm. Diam.: 42 cm.
Bibliography: a very similar vase is described and photographed in Janine BLOCH-DERMANT's book "Le verre en France d'Émile Gallé à nos jours", page 229.
Among the most beautiful models of French Glass (a brand created by Verreries Schneider in 1921), some are selected and are the subject of a production signed "Charder", a contraction of Charles Schneider. This production is more limited, with often Japanese shapes and decorations.
Some pieces may bear both Charder and Verre français signatures.
