CREIL MONTEREAU.
Part of a table service named Rousseau, in fine earthenware from the Manufacture de Leboeuf et Milliet, model created in 1866 by Eugéne Rousseau and Félix Bracquemond.
Polychrome decoration in the Japanese style of birds, fishes, molluscs, crustaceans, insects and flowered branches. The contoured edges are underlined by blue combed lines.
Includes twelve dinner plates, two round terrines and their lids, two oval sauce boats on a stand, two compotiers on a pedestal, one of which is hollow.
Some chips and cracks, missing enamel, wear.
