A blackened ebony veneer chest of drawers with brass and engraved brass marquetry in the Bérain style. The top is decorated in a central reserve with a bouquet of flowers surrounded by squirrels pulling on griffins, insect palms, scrolls and garlands of flowers. The spandrels engraved with an Indian face in foliage. The front slightly arched with five drawers, the ormolu handles on reserves of foliage. The corners are rounded. The sides are decorated with a large quatrefoil in a poly-lobed cartouche of scrolls and volutes surrounded by a reserve. Louis XIV period. H. : 85 cm. L. : 118,5 cm. D. : 60,5 cm. Old restorations of use.
