Japanese porcelain covered pot, Arita kilns, decorated in blue underglaze with medallions in relief with floral motifs enhanced with gilding, the handle and the heel decorated with red scrolls, the silver mounting, the pouring spout with radiating channels, the border with gadroon moldings, the lid's knob chiseled with flowers, the handle with fluted thumb rest. Japan, 17th century. Discharge mark of Paris, 1717-1722. (on the spout, the border, the knob and the thumb rest). Height : 16 cm. (wear, chip on the heel).
