Silver double saltcellar or spice box, rectangular shape with contours, standing on four feet with scrolls and shell, the two lids with central hinge, the edge with gadroon moldings, the interior with two compartments. Mark of the Master silversmith Jean LE BLANC, received in 1714. Paris, probably 1724-1725 (letter date partly erased). Engraved under the reverse, F.D. Height : 5 cm - Length : 12 cm - Width : 8,5 cm - Weight : 311 g. (restoration on the hinge). Provenance : former collection Charley Drouilly.
