Snuffbox of shuttle form in tortoiseshell or gutta-percha in imitation of tortoiseshell. The top with lid decorated with scales in a medallion in reserve and a frieze on the edge spiked with gold. The bottom decorated with radiating gadroons. L. : 9 cm. Accidents and restorations. We join a boxwood bottle, work of "convict" decorated with a dog in a niche on one side and quiver on the other.
