JAPON - Époque MEIJI (1868- 1912).
A bronze and cloisonné enamel four-legged incense burner, the flattened body decorated with floral scrolls in poly-lobed medallions on an asanoha background, flanked by two handles in the form of stylized dragons and resting on four feet in the form of animal masks, the lid decorated with friezes of lotus flowers, the baku-shaped handle. H.33,9 cm. One handle is re-soldered, the lid slightly dented.
