Portico clock in white marble, black marble and gilded bronz - Lot 243
Portico clock in white marble, black marble and gilded bronzes. The movement by Gaston JOLY in Paris is surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings on a thunderbolt. and resting on a truncated column with flowers on either side. The entablature is adorned with flower vases. The uprights are fluted columns with asparagus leaves, backed by a pilaster with a scroll. The base is curved at the center between two projections. Circa 1800. H. 57 cm W. 41 cm D. 11.5 cm. Crack on the left entablature, chips.
