Mahogany and mahogany veneer cylinder desk, molded and carved with canals. The marble-topped tier with gallery opens to three drawers. The cylinder reveals pigeonholes, drawers and a sliding writing surface. A wide drawer between three drawers, one of which is a double drawer. Fluted legs. The top and movable side shelves are upholstered in burgundy embossed morocco. Late 18th or early 19th century. H. 123 cm - W. 162 cm - D. 77 cm. Accents. By family tradition, our desk belonged to Gabriel Denis DEVILLE.
