Secretary desk in veneer and marquetry of green-stained wood, mother-of-pearl and bone. The uprights are fluted, with Turkish heads in medallions. The top drawer is decorated with foliate scrolls, while the flap features a Baroque library in the style of the Prunksaal at the Hofburg in Vienna, with figures, and the two doors depict a view of a city with ruins in the foreground. On the sides, a reserve with a female figure holding a lamb or a bird, surmounting a flowering vase on a pedestal. The crosspieces are decorated with culotte friezes and interlaced rings. The flap reveals an interior with compartments and seven drawers inlaid with cups and pourers. Veined white marble top. Stamped C. TOPINO on the edge of an interior drawer.
