JAPAN - MEIJI period (1868 - 1912). Two bronze vases with a brown patina and cloisonné enamels, one with a low body decorated with literati surmounted by registers of scrolls of flowers and lotuses, the neck flanked by birds spitting from the handles, the other baluster of registers of scrolls of flowers, frieze of panels of lotuses and birds with spread wings. Apocryphal Xuande mark on reverse. H. 29.6 and 30.4 cm (ref. portier 9804/14/25)
