JAPAN, Satsuma kilns - MEIJI period (1868 - 1912). Pair of small vases with long, domed bellies, with blue and gold enameled decoration of holy figures nimbed under plum trees on a green background. On the reverse, the Ninzan mark H. 16.5 cm. A small earthenware perfume burner with red, green, blue and gold enamel decoration of hanging bunches of flowers. (wear to the gold enamel). H. 8.6 cm. The silver (800) openwork and enameled lid. Weight: 22.36g. (ref. 9804/49+65/25)
