Set of four boxes: one in porcelain, the outside sheathed in brown basane, the frame in gilded metal; one in rectangular form, in horn, the lid decorated with a blind cartouche adorned with stylized foliage, within a frieze inlaid with a checkerboard pattern; one in rectangular form in lead, the lid slightly domed and the sides inlaid with silver latticework; the last in wood inlaid with foliage and fillets (accidents). A thimble case, sheathed in green shagreen (accident), is included.
