Delft, 18th century. Pair of large, high-necked earthenware bottle vases with blue monochrome decoration of lakeside landscapes animated by figures. The neck is decorated with a frieze of stylized ruyi and floral scrolls, the base with a frieze of banana leaves. H. 37.5 cm and 39 cm. Electric mount. One neck broken and reglued, restorations on each, chips.
